Weird News from March
March was full of weird and crazy happenings. Here are some weird news which didn’t make the headlines of your daily newspaper but are hilarious as f*ck.
Chinese airport worker fined for looking too handsome
A Chinese airport worker got his pay deducted by 10% for looking too handsome. This happened when a woman boarding her flight shot his video and uploaded it on internet. The man quickly became a sensation on Chinese internet media after the video went viral. People also started comparing him to the North Korean actor Song Joong Ki.
This irked his seniors and they decided to give him a pay-cut of 10% for not following the work standards. In video, he was seen roaming on the runway in all his sass.
The company reported that his uniform was very untidy and his hand was in his pockets which are against the work ethics of the company. This action immediately received a backlash from the internet. But when asked from the man, the 25-year-old responded that he accepts the punishment.
He said, “Honestly, I still feel quite happy because it is not easy to become so famous that quickly.” He also said “My company did nothing wrong. It was my fault for not keeping with the correct standards in terms of dress code and behavior.” Speaking in favor of the lady, he said, “Please don’t bombard the passenger who uploaded the video online. I never blamed her, because she didn’t mean to cause me any harm.”
He may have got 10% pay cut but he won the hearts of millions of people.
The Priya P. Varrier incident repeated itself. Internet is really a magical place.
